The “Casas del Tratado” were a meeting point between the two most important empires at the time (Spain and Portugal) to divide the new land, America.
The actual museum is divided into three rooms:

The playground has mockups from the ships that took part in Cristobal Colon´s expedition.

The first room has part of the cartography and some navigation instruments.

The second room has objects that were made in someNative American towns and a copy of the treaty.
The treaty was the signed compromise by which the new world´s division was established (1494)
Las casas del tratado fueron un lugar de encuentro entre los dos imperios más importantes de aquella época (España y Portugal) para repartir las tierras recién descubiertas, América.
Hoy en día existe un museo en el que, repartido en varias salas, podemos encontrar:

Patio: donde hay maquetas de las naves que formaron parte de la expedición de Cristóbal Colón.

La primera sala: donde se encuentra parte de la cartografía y algunos instrumentos de navegación.

La segunda sala: donde hay objetos que tuvieron su origen en pueblos nativos de América y una réplica del tratado.
El tratado de Tordesillas es el compromiso firmado el día 4 de Junio de 1494, por el cual se establecía la división del nuevo mundo.
